There are stages that a start-up has to step on if it wants to be at the center of the innovation world. A world that, for 50 years, is meeting at the CES in Las Vegas, the Consumer Electronic Show par excellence in the United States and the most important trade show ever. To be clear, this is here where the world’s first home VCR, CD player, DVD, XBOX and all consumer technology, were presented. Not only that, but also the future of cybersecurity, gaming, smart city and smart home, weareable technology, ecommerce and automation today passes through here. Automation and robotics to be precise. And that’s where we’ll be. Yes, because this year we will also be among the Italian start-ups selected to participate, those that will represent the Made in Italy technological innovation at the CES 2021 in Las Vegas.

The event will be held this year in digital form, from 11 to 14 January. Italian start-ups have only had access to the exhibition for 3 years thanks to Ice, the Agency for the promotion and internationalisation of Italian companies. Being selected by Ice as one of the most promising start-ups able to represent Made in Italy in the international tech scene makes us really proud.
Our showpiece, the SandStorm robot that has already won a special mention from Unicredit Start Lab and the trust of Enel Green Power, will be presented to the world and to international investors gathered at CES, through a series of digital systems specifically designed to facilitate the exchange of information, contacts and relationships even in this difficult period due to the health emergency caused by Covid.
SANDSTORM IN THE LAS VEGAS SPOTLIGHT
January 2021 will be the 54th edition of CES. Here, where ideas are financed, agreements are signed between the major players in the sector and roads are opened to the technologies of the future, we will do our part. Proud to be Italian, proud to see our vision recognised globally, to see our dreams take shape and, above all, to be able to show the world our SandStorm, a technology that has no equal in the field of solar panel cleaning automation.
SandStorm, our first official project, represents the best of cleantech Made in Italy. Designed to automate the cleaning of photovoltaic systems, it is a small masterpiece of computer and mechanical engineering that, thanks to the principles of artificial intelligence, overcomes all the limitations of existing competitors (and currently being designed) in the cleaning of large photovoltaic systems. It has already attracted the interest of many European investors. And, we are sure, it will also conquer Las Vegas.
